Here is the card I made for Verve's 4th WCMD sketch challenge. I can't believe it!! Not only is this the FIRST time I completed ALL of Verve's release week sketch challenges, but I finished them with time to spare! WOO HOO! (Excuse me for a second, I am going to take my victory lap now...)
I took a little license with the circular ring in the sketch and turned it into a wreath because I am in the Christmas spirit! I traced a punched circle of about the desired size and punched lots of 5 petaled flowers using one of Stampin' Up!'s punches to create the wreath. I might go back and add some rhinestone ornaments to it, but I am not sure rhinestones go with distressing - what do you think? I distressed the edges of the sentiment from Verve's 'Christmas in the Air' set and used the last of that yummy satin-edges sheer ribbon from Pink Hedgehog papercrafts (I need to get some more!). The DPs are from DCWV's Winter Mat Stack.
ALthough I was concentrating on the sketch, it seems I satisfied the requirements of a few other challenges as well:
Ohhhh this card is wonderful. I love the ribbon-its so pretty. I think rhinestones go with distressing, but then I think rhinestones and/or glitter go with everything - there is always room for bling!

What a fun sketch!! I totally think that rhinestones would go with your distressing!! That wreath is such a great idea. I love that you built it with punches
